After we considered your feedback, we'd like to invite you to partake in an action packed, fun filled day of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in our second Looney Bin Tournament! Like our Rocket League Tournament, this one is supposed to be about fun with the community, not about showing off your skills. We want to play together with you guys and just like last time, everyone who participates gets some of the delicious candy prizes. So grab some friends and sign up! Here are the details regarding this months Tournament: Date: Saturday 27th of February Time: 12pm EST to 7pm EST (during normal stream hours) Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Format: 5v5 Tournament Format: 30 round games. Number of games TBD based on enrollment. Prizes: 1st - 750 candy & $20 steam gift card each 2nd - 400 candy each 3rd-4th - 200 candy each 5th-6th - 100 candy each Sign ups are closed! If you had already signed up, be sure to check your Twitch messages for instructions on the next step! Please keep in mind, that if you signed up as solo person you will be paired up with other random Loonies prior to the tournament. The first round will start at 1pm EST, so we ask that all participants be present in the Discord #csgotourney Group Chat at 12:00pm EST. So we can start to organize and arrange games, ensure all participants are present, and give time for Lowco to do her intro. We ask every participant to ensure that their Steam name is set to be the same as their Twitch name for the duration of the tournament. Further details for the tournament will be released after the sign ups have been closed and the tournament brackets have been drawn up. Lowco will be streaming the tournament and it is a community event, so usual channel rules apply! If a team or player fails to turn up, they will receive no candy. We will do our best to replace any no shows with alternates, but it is the responsibility of the team leader to ensure everyone on their team is available and present. You will have to get together with your teammates and figure out a name for yourselves! We will be awarding candy for the most creative team name/branding, so get yo creative caps on! The team who wins the most games/best round difference will progress. Each team will play their other group members once in a best of 1 format. The final will be a best of 1 or best of 3 depending on time. Groups: Group 1 Vikings In Thongs Will Smith's Bastard Children Breakdancing Midgets Group 2 Team NINCOMPOOP Team Se.V.en Sausage Rescue Team If by any chance a game is tied after 30 rounds (15-15), then it will enter overtime. Overtime will be MR3 10k, so a best of 6 rounds with each team getting 10k at the start of each half of overtime. If the teams are still tied, we will continue in further rounds of overtime in the same format.
