Looney Bin Tournament: CS:GO Practice Server

Hello Loonies! The Tourney Team is extremely excited to announce that we have created a new practice server for people who have joined the tourney or are thinking about doing so. We feel like this will allow you guys to learn the game a bit or perhaps feel more comfortable playing with other people in the Looney Bin ahead of the Tournament on Saturday, February 27th.

Below is some information on how to join in!

After loading up the game, type “~” to get into the game’s console. (make sure this is enabled in your options)

You can copy and paste: connect 192.99.32.42:27025; password LooneyCSGO

Adding this server to your favourites under Browse community servers will allow for easy access in the future.
After doing this, it should throw you right into the server. If it doesn’t, that means it may be currently full.
We ask that you join one of our CS:GO Discord channels and let us know you would like to play. If a Mod or Officer isn’t present, you may ask others in the channel to step out for you. Wait patiently and we will rotate players accordingly.
We have it set up so there are 2 teams of five. Bots will be around to fill in any gaps if there aren’t enough people to play. There are voting options on the server (hit ‘escape’ and then ‘call vote’) so you can restart games, pick maps, etc.

Here are some general rules of the server:

    1. You must always be connected to a CS:GO Discord channel when using the server.
    2. If you team kill 3 times, you will be kicked. If this is repetitive it will result in a ban.
    3. Going AFK for a long period will also kick you from the server.
    4. Please keep the chat as classy as you would in Lowco’s stream.
    5. The general rule is, play a couple games and then move on for other people to join. Hogging the server in any way will result in a kick. Breaking this rule more than once will result in a ban from the server.

If you need to contact a server admin, feel free to reach out to any Mods or Officers on Discord.

Alright guys. Good luck, Have fun!
