We are pleased to announce the inaugural Looney Bin Tournament! We invite you to partake in an action packed, fun filled day of Rocket League in the first, of hopefully many, Looney Bin Tournaments! We are looking to create monthly tournaments for a variety of games which you can win candy in! Here are the details regarding this months Tournament: Date: Saturday 23rd of January Time: 12pm EST to 7pm EST (during normal stream hours) Game: Rocket League Format: 2v2 Tournament Format: Single Elimination Bracket; early rounds will be a Best of 1, the semi-finals and final will be a Best of 3 Prizes: 1st - 750 candy each 2nd - 400 candy each 3rd-4th - 200 candy each 5th-8th - 100 candy each Now this is the really cool part, if you are placed below 8th (so, 9th and lower) you will also 25 candy for just partaking in the event! So, there is no reason at all to not take part Sign ups: To sign up for the tournament, BOTH players in a team must submit a form at the following link: Sign up Form The maximum number of sign ups is 32 teams. The deadline for sign ups Saturday 23rd of January. Once both players in a team have submitted a form, the players will then receive a Twitch Message confirming the sign up. So, be sure to keep an eye out for that. If you don't see it in your inbox, check your other folder. UPDATE: If you cannot find a teammate, you can now sign up without one! All you need to do is put N/A in the field where you would have put your partner's name. You will be paired up with another random Looney prior to the tournament. The first round will start at 1pm EST, so we ask that all participants be present in the Steam Group Chat at 12:00pm EST. This so we can start to organize and arrange games, ensure all participants are present and gives time for Lowco to do her intro. Further details regarding the schedule for the tournament will be released after the sign ups have been closed and the tournament brackets have been drawn up. Lowco will be streaming the tournament and it is a community event, so usual channel rules apply! If a team or player fails to turn up, they will receive no candy. If a team does not turn up for a game, the opposing team will receive a bye to the next round. If only one player of a team turns up for a game, they may either forfeit the game or play 2v1.
